Op Studio Brussel hoorde ik gisteren een Vlaamse versie van Pa (Vader). Weet iemand van wie deze versie is?

Dat zal waarschijnlijk de versie van Antwerpse muzikant Axl Peleman geweest zijn. Persoonlijk kan ik deze versie niet echt smaken, maar dat heb ik bij de meeste covers. Peleman begon solo rond 2000 met zijn vrij succesvolle rockbandje Camden (vroeger was hij lid van Ashbury Faith), maar verdween daarna -na ook kort te hebben opgetreden in allerlei tv-shows- een beetje naar de achtergrond. Jammer eigenlijk, vond zijn beginperiode best goed! |
